Description Andrew Zabolotny 2011-01-25 10:42:46 UTC
When using compiz-gnome window manager, if you set the number of desktops to more than one in CompizConfig -> General compiz options -> Number of Desktops, workspace switcher will correctly show a number of rectangles corresponding to the number of desktops set, but the contents of desktops other than the current is not displayed.

For example, if you have one window on desktop one, and one window on desktop two, on workspace switcher there will be seen only the window on currently active desktop, but not on the other. If you switch to another desktop, the window on previously active desktop disappears from the applet, and the window from currently active desktop appears.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-panel/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
