Is this different to Bug 640490? Can you try the test outlined there?
I did compare the stacktraces, and they are different. I do not know enough to determine if the two bugs were the same.
I can not reproduce this issue using Ubuntu 10.10, with System -> Preferences -> Assistive Technologies -> Enable assistive technologies checked. Hopefully, we can get some more information from the original reporter, who uses dasher on a continuous basis.
Reopening, the information is provided.
Can you explain Comment 4?
(In reply to comment #5) > Can you explain Comment 4? See "History" - was in NEEDINFO and Fabio reset NEEDINFO status.
Direct mode in git-head has been revamped - could try it out please and let us know how it goes? git clone git://git.gnome.org/dasher cd dasher ./configure make sudo make install
