The recommendations are at

FYI, Fedora 15 will ship with GNOME Shell by default although there will be a fallback mode as well.

Lets go point by point:

- don't use a statusicon
This is in progress, see Bug 632000.

- make it a real application
What does this mean? Is it drop status icon and use Search All Notes window as main one?

- don't start it by default
Not an issue I think, just part of discussion.

- integrate the hotkeys properly with the control-center key bindings
Looks like Bug 591333, currently no progress on this.

- arrange for gnote to be activated when the keybindings are used
This is related to previous.

Am I missing something, or just two existing bugs cover this one?

Integrate with GtkApplication to get the "jump list" (list of notes) when right-clicking on the already running gnote in the shell's dock.

I have integrated Gnote with GtkApplication.

Are jump lists supported via GtkApplication? Can you point me to some documentation regarding this?
Comment 4 Aurimas Černius 2011-10-30 20:42:39 UTC
It appears, that jump lists are yet to come. The rest seem to be done except for control-center key bindings, for which a separate bug exists. Closing.

Thank you for your bug report.
