GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 639853
loops with "Window manager warning: Log level 8: meta_shaped_texture_set_clip_region: assertion `META_IS_SHAPED_TEXTURE (stex)' failed"
Last modified: 2011-01-18 18:36:46 UTC
How to reproduce: 1) run gnome-shell 2) go to espn3.com 3) pick some video to watch (warning: requires flash) 4) wait for it to start 5) full screen the video 6) switch to another workspace w/keyboard The video un-fullscreens itself, and at that point, mutter starts throwing Window manager warning: Log level 8: meta_shaped_texture_set_clip_region: assertion `META_IS_SHAPED_TEXTURE (stex)' failed errors repeatedly in .xsession-errors. It still runs, but system performance is greatly degraded because of the error loop. (Not to mention the log gets really large.) Backtrace in gdb just shows it in the main loop. mutter-2.91.5-1.fc15.x86_64 gtk3-2.99.2-1.fc15.x86_64 gnome-shell-2.91.5-3.fc15.x86_64 gjs-0.7.9-2.fc15.x86_64
This does not appear to be a 100% reproducer.
However, it's not limited to just ESPN3... fullscreen flash on youtube reproduces it as well.
