Fix build failure with ld --no-add-needed

The toolchain for Ubuntu Natty is now uses --no-add-needed by default, see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/NattyNarwhal/ToolchainTransition

Attached is a patch that fixes the issue.

This was originally fixed in Launchpad: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libxml++2.6/+bug/699897
