Description John Thacker 2011-01-12 04:20:00 UTC
I have a bunch of media files with names of the TrackNum. Title or TrackNum - Title variety.

If I select "Import Media" then "Folders" and import from the same folder as my current music library, any track with a & or , (ampersand or comma) in the filename is imported as a duplicate, even if it already exists in the library. If I keep importing from that folder, it will include a new duplicate of all of those files every time.

All files with & and , in the title are affected, and as far as I can tell, those are the only special characters triggering it. Seems to be a problem with escaping them and testing to see if the file already exists in the library.

This is with Library Watcher off.

Actually, upon checking, it seems that : (colon) is also a character that triggers this.

! () [] /\ ' and " seem okay.
