GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 639101
Language issue for the value of scheduled transactions
Last modified: 2018-06-29 22:51:25 UTC
In gnucash 2.4.0, Windows XP, I just found that my scheduled transactions lines are created into the account without any value for 2 months ago now. I open the tab Scheduled transactions, then select a transaction, then edit it. I go to the tab Template transaction. Here I found the previous created transaction. Ths splits contain French figures : "50,00" for 50 euros, with the coma. This transaction might have been created under a French installation of Gnucash I did several months ago. But I right now I am using the English version (50.00 euros). When editing the split, I keeping the value "50,00" , the following message appears : An error occured while processing 50,00. Workaround : modifying the value 50,00 by 50.00. The fact that the value of the transaction stored in the gnucash file depends of the language seems to be a bug. thanks for all the work on gnucash (I am using it for 4 years now). olivier
