GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 639028
The Panel's menu bar does not render properly
Last modified: 2011-01-19 03:23:54 UTC
Created attachment 177850 [details] Screenshot of gnome-panel (branch gtk3) with the menubar problem The custom menu bar does not set the height properly for the menuitem. As a consequence, the menu looks bigger than it should. The attached screenshot shows the problem.
Created attachment 177851 [details] Backtrace I got a backtrace doing the following in a xterm inside my jhbuild and Xephyr: $ gnome-session remove gnome-panel $ gdb gnome-panel (gdb) run --g-fatal-warnings (gdb) bt The signal 'size-request' is deprecated and it is used for render imagemenuitem. It must be ported to its equivalent in gtk3.
This bug was fixed by Carlos García Campos in gtk3 branch: http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-panel/commit/?h=gtk3&id=e739e206c89ee3aebd4a209db4df45831fce30d4
