Both gnome-panel and libpanel-applet should be ported from GConf to GSettings

[Removing GNOME3.0 target as decided in release-team meeting on March 03, 2011.
This report has an "important" categorisation for GNOME3.0 but is not considered a hard blocker. For querying use the corresponding whiteboard entry added.]

This is done now; the clock applet hasn't been ported yet (other applets have), though. But since it's just an applet, it's fine :-) Will be done later on.

Not quite; I get a warning on startup which is due to panel-bindings.c looking at /apps/metacity, which doesn't exist anymore in metacity since:
