Im'using Ubuntu 10.10, with nm-applet version 0.8.1. After i plug in my HUAWEI E1800 internet key i am prompted two times for the PIN code to unlock the key before i can choose the mobile connection. The first time the unlock command times out.

Does this still happen with recent ModemManager versions? e.g. 0.5.x or 0.6.x

I'm going to close this one as obsolete. Please retry with ModemManager >= 1.x and if you can still reproduce the issue, open a new bugreport in the fd.o bugzilla:
