Description i.mortimer 2010-12-24 01:14:57 UTC
Under Composer Preferences/General/Alerts there are a number of useful alerts that can be turned on or off but not the alert displayed when sending to an unqualified address. As far as I can tell it can't be disabled in gconf-editor either.

It would be nice if this could be disabled for networks where the MTA takes care of unqualified addresses making the alert unnecessary in those cases.

Thanks

Please see my enhancement request 562926 filed 12/1/08. For those of use who do not have automatic address completion by the MTA, rather than an alert, completion with a default domain address, e.g. "@myinstitution.edu" would be much more useful. Clearly there are users who could use both of these enhancements--I hope the developers will consider adding both.
Thanks,
George Reeke
