Description Chris Wilson 2010-12-21 10:50:43 UTC
When I come to log in on my multiple monitor system, I notice that the login prompt does not always appear on the primary monitor, and it appears at first glance that the selection of the monitor is purely random. I believe that the prompt is being displayed on the monitor on which the mouse pointer is located, and if this is the case, I believe this should be changed so that the prompt only appears on the primary monitor for the sake of consistency.

gnome-screensaver is obsolete, and this particular bug has been fixed in
gnome-shell itself, with the lock screen covering all the screens, and the
password entry being on the primary monitor.
