How to reproduce

1. I was using the program and I was using the contact feature.
2. I put my computer to sleep.
3. I woke my computer and then I clicked on the Mail tab to use mail and it
crashed.

e_ui_manager_add_ui_from_file() purposefully aborts when it can't read the UI file.  The real question here is why did g_file_get_contents() fail -- the error message is not given.  Doesn't seem like an Evolution issue to me.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
However, you are using a version that is too old and not supported anymore. GNOME developers are no longer working on that version, so unfortunately there will not be any bug fixes for the version that you use.

By upgrading to a newer version of GNOME you could receive bug fixes and new functionality. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain a newer version of GNOME.
Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer version of GNOME.
