GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 637380
gnome-keyring-daemon does not remember GPG passphrase
Last modified: 2011-02-25 12:50:55 UTC
While the daemon remembers my SSH passphrase correctly, it asks me for my GPG passphrase every time. I am using the daemon in KDE and start it like this in ~/.kde/env/gnome-keyring.sh: eval $(gnome-keyring-daemon) export GNOME_KEYRING_CONTROL export SSH_AUTH_SOCK export GPG_AGENT_INFO export GNOME_KEYRING_PID Version: 2.92.92.is.2.31.91-0ubuntu4.1 (Ubuntu Maverick) How can I debug this?
Does it give you the option to remember the passphrase when prompting you? Is there a 'Details' expander near the bottom of the password prompt?
Created attachment 178801 [details] Showing the passphrase dialog
Yes and yes - I have attached a screenshot.
FWIW, I have tried the different options in the details list already.
Fixed for me in Ubuntu natty, which has 2.92.92.is.2.32.1-0ubuntu2.
