Description Giovanni Campagna 2010-12-11 16:12:09 UTC
GObject is a valid base class for any normal type, I can't see why it should not be allowed in constructors.
(The use case in question is NMObject, part of libnm-glib)

Pair constructors that return GObject

GObject is a valid superclass for any (normal) class, so it should
be a valid return value for constructors.
