Description Michał Borsuk 2010-12-09 18:16:18 UTC
As of ver. 5.32.0, the switching between octal, decimal, binary and hex realms in "Programming mode" has been changed from radio buttons to a list.

This makes the re-calculation of numbers from one system to another significantly more difficult, because the list requires more attention and focus.

This is a small issue if a single calculation is involved, but for a heavy user this is an actual and quite a large deterioration in "user experience".

Please, bring back radio buttons.

Yes, please do bring back the old radio-button behaviour, or at least give us a configuration option to have the old interface back.

there is a gnome registry setting for everything else, why hasn't this one been made yet?

Radio button not coming back, there is now a conversion bar that should make this simpler.
