GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 636853
Gimp: rotate 90 using tool off-by-one boundary error
Last modified: 2010-12-10 18:06:44 UTC
Forwarded: https://launchpad.net/bugs/687737 gimp=2.6.11-1ubuntu2. To reproduce: 1. Open an image, select a 48x48 region 2. Use the rotate tool and input "90.0 degrees" 3. The preview is correct 4. Click [Rotate] The region actually rotated is now a 47x47 selection, aligned to the bottom-right of the original region. A pair of thin 1-pixel strips are left empty. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/687737/+attachment/1760582/+files/gimp-rotate90-off-by-one.png GNOME Bug #606551 talks about an off-by-two error (in the opposite direction) in GEGL, whether this related I don't know but came across it when hunting for dups.
