Description Michael Sherman 2001-11-02 16:00:30 UTC
Package: oaf
Severity: critical
Version: 0.6.6
Synopsis: oafd won't die
Bugzilla-Product: oaf
Bugzilla-Component: general

Description:
After a day of use, I have about 8 oafd processes running, all started
by several different users. When one of the users then goes back into
the system and tries to run evolution, for example, it will not start up
because of the other oafd processes running. If i run "oaf-slay" a
couple of times, or kill -9 the procs explicitly, the user can then run
the program just fine. So, why won't oafd gracefully control itself?
