Description Javier Jardón (IRC: jjardon) 2010-11-20 04:23:38 UTC
I think that would be interested to have the GNOME_MAINTAINER_MODE_DEFINES macro
(http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-common/tree/macros2/gnome-common.m4#n42) on Glib directly.

This macro warns about the use of deprecated symbols, so It's interesting for all the projects that are using the "G" stack.

Also, some projects do not use gnome-autogen, so they can remove the gnome-common dependency completely.

What do you think? Maybe we should change the name of the macro?
Comment 1 Javier Jardón (IRC: jjardon) 2015-10-06 00:37:47 UTC
This is obsolete now: we use compilation warnings in GLib/GTK+ and the GNOME macros from gnome-common have been upstreamed to autoconf-archive
