brightness_applet_of_gnome-power-manager2.png

Hello all,

I add a 'brightness applet' to top gnome-panel. After reboot PC I see a icon is missing... I found one black pixel in old palace, I show a hing ~'LCD backlight brightness: 100%' and I have be sure it's a my applet.

This situation I have on Ubuntu 10.04 and my current Ubuntu 10.10.

I attach a screen to document this.
This is reproducable, I can do test of these.

gnome-power-manager: 2.32.0-0ubuntu1
upower: 0.9.5-4
dbus: 1.4.0-0ubuntu1
libnotify1: 0.5.0-2ubuntu1

Hello all,

I have one update. When I do a command 'killall gnome-panel' then I show this 'brightness applet' icon with success.

Best Regards

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-power-manager/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
