GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 635028
Documents cannot be opened
Last modified: 2018-07-10 22:44:03 UTC
Opening of any document saved with 0.4 version compiled from tarball causes error dialog: Cannot open file "/tmp/ease/<pid>/0/Document.json": No such file or directory. Example attached.
Created attachment 174635 [details] Sample
I get the same error. Can't open the file you attached nor anyone i create. I'm using release 0.4 from launchpad.
I also cannot load a saved presentation, which is a critical error. I am running Ease on Ubuntu, and I get a similar "No such file or directory" error.
Ease is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes in 2010. Its codebase has been archived: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/ease/commits/master Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
