Opening of any document saved with 0.4 version compiled from tarball causes error dialog: Cannot open file "/tmp/ease/<pid>/0/Document.json": No such file or directory.

I get the same error. Can't open the file you attached nor anyone i create. I'm using release 0.4 from launchpad.

I also cannot load a saved presentation, which is a critical error. I am running Ease on Ubuntu, and I get a similar "No such file or directory" error.

Ease is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes
in 2010. Its codebase has been archived:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/ease/commits/master

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
