Description Bin Li 2010-11-09 11:39:26 UTC
The "Start Here" note could not be able to delete by design,Right?
Because we find that the "Delete" button of the "Start Here" note is not
active.

But when we come to "Search All Notes" interface, right click the "Start Here"
note and click "Delete",we could delete this note.

Is that wanted?

I think the Start Here note should be deletable. It should be treated as a regular note, but on first start/creation, we should just pin it to the recent notes list.

I noticed similar issue with Tomboy 1.12.0 in Ubuntu 13.04.
I cannot delete any note at all using right mouse button and context menu. Delete option is greyed out. I can delete notes with keyboard shortcut however..

The non-active delete note menu context issue has been fixed for a while, but doesn't appear that it has made it yet into the Ubuntu stream. I'm not sure why, but Mikhail are you able to test from source?

I do confirm that 1.13.5+ in git does have delete item in context menu. I should have filed a bug on launchpad instead. Somehow I did not notice the tracker first time.

I filed https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tomboy/+bug/1102733
