Description Andre Gondim 2010-11-08 20:07:28 UTC
Binary package hint: gucharmap

Character Map 2.32.0, Ubuntu 10.10

In the Brazilian Portuguese locale:
1. Choose some characters for the "Texto para copiar" field.
2. Press Alt+C.

What should happen: The characters are copied to the clipboard, as shown by the underlined "C" on the "Copiar" button.

What actually happens: Character Map switches to the "Detalhes do caractere" tab, because it also has the "C" access key, and it's first in the tab order.

This should be fixed by changing the access key for "Detalhes do caractere" from "C" to something else, e.g. "D".

Thanks for the report. This is a problem in the pt-br translation, not the programme itself.
