Restored evolution settings from a backup that were using the older microsoft exchange plugin. I installed the exchange 2007 plugin instead of the older one 2. Started Evolution and it begin to try to update the mail folders 3. Evolution crashes while updating Core was generated by `evolution'. Program terminated with signal 6, Aborted.

Right. He's dealing with couple other things there too, but that one matches fully.
Openchange tracker issue mentioning similar crash: http://tracker.openchange.org/issues/225 but user's "fix" was to rebuild from scratch. He guessed that there was an issue with some library either samba, talloc or any related, with no exact clue what helped him.
I expect this being fixed with evolution-mapi-3.2.0 and OpenChange 0.11. Please reopen if you'll face with that or any later version. Thanks in advance.
