Description Federico Mena Quintero 2010-11-06 15:53:40 UTC
1. Open an application that can open multiple windows (e.g. gnome-terminal or emacs).

2. Open a second window for that application.

3. Go to another workspace.

4. Launch a different application.

5. Go back to the original workspace. Focus the second window from the first application.

6. Hit Alt-tab. You should be taken to the second application from (4).

7. Hit Alt-tab again.

While you'd expect to be taken back to the original window from (5), you are instead taken to the *first* window from (1).

That is, Alt-tab is not symmetrical if an app has more than one window and you first Alt-tab to a window that is not in the same workspace.

Federico, I think this is a duplicate of my old bug 621287. Can you confirm it's the case?
Comment 2 Florian Müllner 2013-03-04 14:43:43 UTC
This should be fixed as side-effect of bug 661156.
