patch to add pango_cairo_show_glyph_item_range

this patch should add the necessary functions to be able to do pango_cairo_show_glyph_item_range.   It builds and links, but when I try to use it in an application, it borks with this backtrace:

I am still unsure how cairo and pango link together and how the backend plugins work.   Any advice would be appreciated.
