GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 633656
Duplicate and missing files when importing with Library Watcher enabled
Last modified: 2010-11-02 11:04:31 UTC
When importing files, they are copied correctly to the library folders. However, some are shown duplicated in Banshee while others are missing. This only seems to happen with Library Watcher enabled. I don't seem to recognize a pattern in the names of the files which get duplicated/missing, as they all have the same "special" characters or punctuation marks. Moreover, if I delete the files and import them again, eventually they'll be imported correctly.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug however I believe this is a duplicate of: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=623441 Meaning the following commit fixes the problem: http://git.gnome.org/browse/banshee/commit/?id=aa40b95bf04ce2c89be391d34c19aec0850bba1e If you are an Ubuntu user please do retest against a daily build to confirm: https://launchpad.net/~banshee-team/+archive/banshee-daily If this is not the case, please reopen this bug and attach a debug log of the issue: banshee-1 --debug --redirect-log (the log is then found in ~/.config/banshee-1/log). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 623441 ***

Created attachment 173651 [details] List of files being imported
I'm afraid the issue is still present in the latest daily build. Log attached. I've also attached the list of files being imported. Result: - Disc 1: Song 1 duplicated, Song 3 missing - Disc 2: Song 1 duplicated
