Description Stormy Peters 2010-10-28 20:55:34 UTC
Long term this will be solved by CiviCRM (I hope) so any solution should be one that doesn't require lots of implementation.

Currently we get emails about Paypal donations to friends@gnome.org. I send out emails depending on what the email is about:
* For every donation, I send out a thank you note. (I have two different letters depending on if it was a one time donation or a subscriber.)
* If it's a subscriber, they also get a postcard from the hacker of their choice, so I forward it on to the right hacker to send the card.
* If it's a cancellation notice, I send them a thank you note and ask them for feedback.

Can we automate this easily?

I created a wiki page for tracking the postcards too. Would be nice to automatically populate.

It's protected as the addresses are confidential:

The GNOME Infrastructure Team is currently migrating its bug / issue tracker away from Bugzilla to Request Tracker and therefore all the currently open bugs have been closed and marked as OBSOLETE.

The following move will also act as a cleanup for very old and ancient tickets that were still living on Bugzilla. If your issue still hasn't been fixed as of today please report it again on the relevant RT queue.

More details about the available queues you can report the bug against can be found at https://wiki.gnome.org/Sysadmin/RequestTracker.

Thanks for your patience,

the GNOME Infrastructure Team
