When importing an album with multiple artists into the library, the tracks are not grouped together in the browser, but split up by artists/album.

The quick fix for this is to mark each of the tracks as part of a compilation.  See the bottom of this page for more on that: http://banshee.fm/support/guide/track-list/

The real issue, though, is that Banshee's handling of compilations could be a lot more intuitive.  Since that's the core of the problem, I'm marking this as a duplicate of Bug 624311.  Thanks for taking the time to report this, and feel free to follow along there and add your input.
