GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 633380
Cannot handle filenames with whitespaces
Last modified: 2011-08-06 17:00:33 UTC
If the file contains a white space (like "my file.txt"), gitg shows the file under "Unstaged", but can not stage it. If the file is staged through the command line, and committed through gitg, the commit succeeds, but gitg crashes and closes. Tried on version 0.0.6
This also affects my use of gitg.
In my case it doesn't even display properly, it shows only the first word. Version: gitg 0.0.8 (on fedora 14)
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
