Description Sorin Sbarnea 2010-10-27 11:32:09 UTC
Ekiga client allways try to connect to ekiga.net:5060.

This is allways happening and will fail if firewall is blocking 5060 connection (most corporate firewalls).

The client is not supposed to establish outbound connections that were not configured. Even stranger I found this happening even when you remove the two sample sip addresses from the client: sip:500@ekiga.net and sip:501@ekiga.net

I think that this issue is preventing the client from being used with an intranet SIP server.

After a test, there is no packet sent to ekiga.net:5060 when:
- you have no registered account on ekiga.net
- you have no @ekiga.net contact in your address book

In which case have you seen such a connection?
