Description JC John Sese Cuneta 2010-10-24 04:44:51 UTC
(First off, sorry if the terms I use are confusing, I'm new to gnome-shell, testing it out.)

When running a WINE application and you go to Activities, the WINE-based app gets 2 "preview" windows in the Activities mode. (See screenshot-01)

Then if you focused on another app (non-WINE) and try to go back to the WINE-based app, it stops showing up on the desktop. However, when you go to Activities view, the WINE-app is there. But focusing on it, it disappears. The way it happens, it was like the WINE-app was put on the background (think 'layers'). The only option is to terminate it and restart. (See screenshot-02)

This bug has been fixed a while ago, how did you install gnome-shell and which version are you using?

Hi, sorry I forgot to mention. It's 2.31.5-2ubuntu2. The one that comes with the Ubuntu 10.10 repository.

OS used for the above: Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit, with WINE 1.2.
