When I start gLabels, is opens the main window and immediately ends.  There is no time to see anything on the window as it is more like a flash to open and close.  I see no trace and bugzilla does not indicate any activity.  I am running the latest release of Linux and also KDE4.

Can you run it in a terminal window and report any output that may be produced?

Did that.  Result:

This problem seems to be with GtkRecentManager and seems to be affecting various Gtk applications.  I am marking this as a duplicate of Bug 612334.
