The test case PDF.

Evince renders the attached PDF poorly, while xpdf renders it correctly. Specifically, there is a lot of aliasing in the display and the second object's fill has a discontinuity.

This is a poppler issue, I've just forwarded this bug to the freedesktop bugzilla:
