GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 632409
Cannot set date 2010-10-17 in transactions
Last modified: 2018-06-29 22:46:01 UTC
When I enter a new transaction in gnucash 2.2.9 it simply doesn't let me choose the day of today (2010-10-17) as the transaction date. It ignores completely my selection and put yesterday (2010-10-16) as date. I have tried to do it by selecting the date from the calendar (it doesn't allow me to select 2010-10-17) and by entering the date manually (when I press <ENTER> it changes automatically to 2010-10-16). I took a suggestion from gnucash-user@gnucash.org and I tried other dates also. It works for the dates of tomorrow (2010-10-16) and yesterday (2010-10-18) but it doesn't work for 2009-10-18 and 2011-10-16 (the third Sunday in October in those years) - it chooses the day before automatically. If I use the + / - keys, it select the date I want but when I press <ENTER> it changes automatically to the day before. I also tried gnucash 2.3.15 and change the date format (as suggested in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=598788) but the problem persists. I am using Windows 7 Professional (64-bits) in English.
