Would be cool to have a specific icon for the Samsung Galaxy i9000 device, since Jakub drew one anyway [1]. Will the icons shortly.

Galaxy s in all sizes

Here it is!

Hrm, so this icon is already in your gnome-icon-theme-extras, installed system-wide right?

I was about to just add the pngs to our Banshee.Dap/ThemeIcons directory, but I'm not sure that they'll get picked up automatically -- I think the default android icon (a white g1) would be used. I'm not too happy with our current scheme that AFAICT requires code changes to add new devices/device icons.
Comment 3 Andreas Nilsson 2011-02-19 23:10:10 UTC
gnome-icon-theme-extras don't get installed system-wide anywhere, it's just a repo with stuff in it for now.

Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
See https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/264 for more info.
