GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 632199
Opening calendar from panel clock goes to previous day
Last modified: 2010-11-02 08:33:25 UTC
Hi, Opening my agenda (by clicking right-top on the date on the Gnome desktop - selectig a date) I get the agenda from the previous day. Example - if I have an appointment on nov 15th, I'd check by clicking on the date, that opens a calendar, I select the month and day and Evolution opens the PREVIOUS day instead... Not a real bug but more of an oopsee... Love Evolution BTW... Tnx Thor Distribution: Unknown Gnome Release: 2.32.0 2010-09-27 (Archlinux) BugBuddy Version: 2.32.0
Thanks for a bug report. I can confirm it. I believe it was already filled, so I will try to find the previous bug too.
Created attachment 173480 [details] [review] evo patch for evolution; I couldn't find the other bug, but here's a patch to let this work as expected. There was missing a conversion from UTC to user's timezone when using times returned from clock applet.
Created commit 475c08d in evo master (2.91.2+) Created commit 1d8b794 in evo gnome-2-32 (2.32.1+)
Hi, Thanks for the follow-up. I'll update the evolution asap... Wellness Thor
