GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 632101
configurable text for citation message
Last modified: 2010-10-15 10:32:43 UTC
in front of citations, I get this message: Am Mittwoch, den 13.10.2010, 21:09 +0000 schrieb bugzilla@gnome.org: > Bugzilla has received a request to create a user account ... Often, I want this to be in english, and with english date format (because the mail will be read by people who don't understand german). But it seems, I can't change this (according to an IRC answer): <sebastian> How do you change the language of the text that's inserted by evolution before citations to english? <andre> you cannot, it refers to the language that you use the User Interface in It would be ok to change this permanently. Most german speaking people I send mails to will understand english messages, too. Actually, in private mails (which go to german receivers), I wont need this message at all, so I can simply delete it. But for replies to mailing lists, I need the english message. It would be even better if I could configure evolution to generate _two_ lines (an english and a german one) so I could delete the one I don't want. regards, Sebastian
