Description Milan Crha 2010-10-07 16:04:18 UTC
Forwarding from a downstream bugzilla (part of that bug):
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=639997

After updating to 2.32.0 from 2.31.5 evolution-mapi account doesn't want to connect claiming:
> Unable to authenticate to Exchange MAPI Server: MapiLogonEx:
> MAPI error MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND (0x8004010f) occurred Please enter the MAPI
> password for user@server.com

The password is correct and it is the one that was working before upgrade and works with OWA.
Comment 1 Milan Crha 2010-10-07 16:06:11 UTC
Because disabling the account and re-authenticating it helped, then I suppose evolution-mapi would do this transparently when it receives MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND from the MapiLogonEx call.

ema patch

for evolution-mapi;

I can reproduce this by either removing the profile from the evolution's ldb file or just removing the ldb file as the whole. Then my previously configured account couldn't connect.

With this patch it's creating the profile when necessary.
