Description waxxey 2010-10-04 18:33:14 UTC
I can not find any way to stop receiving messages like "has joined the room" in the empathy IRC client. In rooms with many participants the messages fill the screen and forces the focus of the window to the newest "message". This means that the window autoscrolls to the newest message witch usually is "has joined the room" or "has disconnected (Leaving)" making reading messages a hassle. A option to turn this behavior off would be very practical.
