For those of us who don't have macos could you elaborate a little?
Comment 2 mihelic matjaz 2001-10-27 22:43:18 UTC
This means You could print a desktop or any folder contents just like
you see them in nautilus window. Except paper has no bounds like
window. In case of large image folder You could make a book of
thumbnails. Everything in office is sometimes easier to document on
paper than on computer.

How to make this step.
1. Title on paper is the name of folder.
2. Files in the same layout as diplayed in window. So user can choose
how to print the files. And this makes you easy because you draw just
the same thing you're drawing on window except here you don't draw
window but only contents with paper bounds. If there is too many files
You just make more pages.

Why?
1. Extremlly useful in OPI case, webdesigners case, any position where
thumbnails are usefull.
2. Ease of having documented future of files in office who where whom
3. Ease of making documetation (instalation papers etc.) Print Folder
and You get layout of CD. You just add documentation and there it is.
When You need it on the screen You just print into a PDF or postscript
file4. When somebody gets used on it you can't stop it.
