Description d.i.smith 2010-10-01 00:54:32 UTC
I'm using Windows XP SP3.

Steps to duplicate bug:
1. Open GIMP
2. Open an image (I'm using JPG files)
3. Select the Cut tool.
4. In the Toolbox, check the Fixed box (leave Aspect Ratio in the drop-down box)
5. Enter a ratio in the next box (I've been using 10:8)
6. Click somewhere else or hit TAB to leave the ratio box
7. GIMP crashes

2.6.6 worked fine for me; 2.6.10 crashes.

Sorry, I meant the crop tool.

I also tried 2.6.8, which crashes. 2.6.7 does not.

It appears that this is a duplicate of bug 606247, so I'll be following that for developments.
