Description Vincent Untz 2010-09-29 18:19:27 UTC
19:00 < vuntz> is it expected that the torrent.gnome.org website is dead?
19:01 < SEJeff_work> vuntz, Yeah. The disk failed and it isn't really used
19:01 < SEJeff_work> Were you using it for something?
19:02 < vuntz> not really, but we might have stuff linking to it
19:02 < vuntz> we should probably move it somewhere else, and redirect the web page to some other page
19:03 < vuntz> (that would not be about torrents anymore, but well)
19:07 < vuntz> and if it's really dead, we should also kill the torrent-web git repo

I'm not sure which web page we could use as a destination for the redirection, though. Maybe http://www.gnome.org/start/

updated DNS to point torrent to window. Updated/configured vhost with:

<VirtualHost *:80>
  ServerName torrent.gnome.org
  Redirect / http://www.gnome.org/start/
</VirtualHost>
