I'm using GIMP 2.6.10 on both Vista and XP, this problem is not apparent on Vista, just XP.

If I select either the crop tool or rectangular select tool, and then manually select an aspect ratio, as soon as I click on the image the program crashes.

If I do anything with either tool without selecting the aspect ratio it works normally.

The machine is an older Athlon processor, an XP1800+ running at 1.53GHz, and XP with service pack 3.  

I'm currently running 2.2.17 on that machine because I don't have the problem with that version.
