I don't know. We use our own .vcproj files for building GStreamer. And we don't actually use the directsoundsink, so I am not very passionate about this patch. Feel free to close it.

(The reason we did it was to not have to add DxErr9 as well as DxErr)

The duplicate has another patch that is required on top of this. What's the advantage of this, which libraries would be required for linking? The patch is definitely incomplete
