GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 629892
Texttool is not working
Last modified: 2010-09-17 06:48:02 UTC
Created attachment 170457 [details] zipped .xcf of the RuntimeErrorMsgBox I use German language and didn't test it in another language. If I click on the Letter for invoking the texttool and then into an image the program crashes: This is a development version of GIMP. Debug messages may appear here. ** Gdk:ERROR:gdkgc-win32.c:751:get_impl_drawable: code should not be reached ___________________________________________________________________________ Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program C:\Programme\Gimp 2.7\bin\gimp-2.7.exe This application has requested Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more info. ___________________________________________________________________________ I changed to that version because your so called stable version GIMP 2.6.10 Released 2010-07-08 didn't run to stable as well. BTW how about saving open images in the tmp-folder until they are saved? [I work with screenshots of a multiplayer game and when the program crashes all is lost forever not very professional, - how long are you developing that program for Windows? Never considered a function to retrieve images after a crash like OpenOffice does it with its documents. That's ridiculous for a Windows program IMHO (Every Windows program should have a retrieve function and save open files in a tmp- folder anything else is very "blueeyed and blond" (Germanism)]
