Description Ben 2010-09-16 00:31:32 UTC
I am forwarding this bug from downstream: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/639627

to reproduce:

1. edit>preferences>behavior, check (or uncheck) the checkbox that says 'open each folder in its own window'

2. close preferences window

3. navigate to other folders and see that the behavior has not changed.

4. upon restart the behavior is changed.

It should either be somehow indicated that changing this setting requires a restart: something like "open each folder in its own window (requires restart)" or this setting should take effect immediately like all other settings.

This works now fine in nautilus master.
