This is the second time I've encountered this failure. I've tried reinstalling the OS and still the same failure.

>How-To-Repeat:
Login as root on the initial startup after installing the OS. This is the second time this has occurred after installing the OS.

Please try the latest (1.4.x) version of gnome-core and gnome-libs
from http://download.gnome.org/ Contact me if you need RPMS.
