Ideally an HIG reference. If not, a bunch of GNOME applications doing otherwise.

  No "clear" item at all

EiskaltDC++: 
  Only "copy" and "select all" in general chat
  "Copy" is at the first position in private chat

PSI:
  "Copy" and "select all"

Any read-only text in a web browser -- "Copy" is first.

Patch to fix bug

This patch fixes bug. It moves the Clear option to the last place. I have tested it, and it works well.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
