Description Marina Zhurakhinskaya 2010-09-06 16:37:12 UTC
women-outreach@gnome.org is the contact address for women interested in starting to contribute to GNOME. It's currently an alias forwarding to a few people.

We'd like to make it a list with private archives and moderated subscriptions. We are planning to have the applicants for the Outreach Program for Women internships send in their applications to this address. Being able to view the archives on the web will make it easier to evaluate the applications for the people working on the selection process.

Basically, this list would be similar to the 'travel-committee' list. It's fine to advertise the list name in the list directory. The archives should be private though because the applications will contain some personal information from people who are new to the community.

We would like to announce the application process next week, so please fulfil this request as soon as possible.
